The Valley is located 112-Km from Visakhapatnam and has Waterfalls and streams which give a pleasant feeling to the mind. The 17 tribes living in this valley wear colourful dresses and costumes and were untouched with modern civilisations. Their rhythmic songs and tribal dances, the Dhimsa dance in particular are just marvelous. The valley has Cottages and Resorts for tourists who visit here on a week long trip.
The Tribal Museum at Araku is a showcase of traditional living methods of native trives. This museum is aimed to focus and preseve the important traits of original culture, tradition, handicrafts and fine arts of the ancient tribes of India.
