Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is an authorized Certifying Authority (CA) to issue valid digital certificates. The eSecurity Group in the Advanced Technology Centre (ATC) has researched and developed various security products and offers services in the field.

TCS provided its expertise to Visakhapatnam Special Export Processing Zone (VSEZ) in the web-based filing and approval application that is aimed at replacing the paper-based system and have an on-line paper-less office system.

As a part of the Managed PKI solution, VSEZ became a Registration Authority (RA) under TCS-CA Trusted Network. The PKI system enabled transparent and online operations of VSEZ. Business Units can file their applications and get to know their status with the online system. Similarly, the authorities at VSEZ can login to their system and process the same. Online reports and statistics are made available.
