Visakha Dairy or Visakha Co-operative Dairy as it is originally named is a co-operative dairy collecting milk from farmers and distributing packaged milk to the surrounding districts of Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam. Visakha Dairy has recently began distributing Milk and Milk-related products to many parts of East Godavari district aswell.

Visakha Dairy registered a turnover of Rs. 150 Crores in 2002 and remained to be at the #1 slot even after competition from private dairies has increased in recent times - particularly from Heritage and City Milk.

Visakha Dairy collects near over 3 Lakh tones of milk every day. Of this, about 1/3rd is converted to Milk Power.

Visakha Dairy introduced the North Pole Ice cream brand during the summer of 2006. Despite having competition from major national milk brands such as Kwality, Amul and from local brands such as Blue Berry, the foray into the ice creams business is indeed a good one.
