IT Park Project in Vizag advances

The dreams of Visakhapatnam to have a Hi-Tech IT Park in similar lines to Hyderabad Hitech City. The Project construction works, costing Rs. 40 Crores were given to L & T - the same company that has built the Hi-Tech City in Hyderabad.

The Rs. 22.5 Crores construction contract was given to L & T and was expected to complete the work in just 180 days. The project is expected to be completed by December 31, 2003.

Earlier in April 2001, the Government of Andhra Pradesh gave clearance for the project.
